Hi, I’m Mikayla the owner of The Beauty Parlor. I finished my schooling at Nova Academy of Cosmetology and got my license to become an Esthetician in 2019. I started my own business in 2020, I love what I do and love being able to put smiles on others faces. What got my interest in becoming a skin professional was my own skin. I have struggled with acne and uneven skin tone for many years. Being able to learn aesthetics skincare and helping others is what I loved but lashes have stollen my heart so I decided to put my focus primarily on lash extensions. I grew up on a dairy farm outside of Goodhue, MN where I learned to get my hands dirty and wake up when the sun rises. I still love helping when I can and enjoy being outdoors. My husband and I welcomed our little baby boy Beckham a year after our marriage in November 2024 - so more likely than not you might get an extra little friendly face at the salon. I charge 30% cancellation fee for any no shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Hey hey!! I'm Alexa I have been in the Goodhue community my whole life as I graduated from Goodhue High School in 2024! In my free time you would probably find me reading, working out, hanging out with my family, or doing anything outside. I attended Nova Academy of Cosmetology for the Advanced Practice Esthetician program and I am loving being in the beauty industry! My favorite services to do are dermaplaning, microneedling, and of course everything lashes! I was drawn to beauty parlor because I love the closeness of the Goodhue community! My approach to skin care & Lashing is rooted in providing personalized treatments leaving everyone feeling like there best selves! I am so excited to bring more services to the Beauty Parlor, I can't wait to get to know you!
